Voltage

Custom services are performed in the first Mexican airport you reach.

 

Before traveling check if you need a visa to enter the country. The following link has a list of countries with which Mexico has a reciprocal agreement and therefore do not need entry visa:

Currency

The voltage is 110V in Mexico. Electrical outlets mostly have tho paralell legs ( as in the United States, but not polarized), or two round pins; electrical outlets usually accept both types of plugs. Some socket may have a third (ground)

The Mexican currency is the peso (mxn peso). Dollars and traveler checks are easily changed in hotels, banks, or travel agencies. Most establishments accept credit cards. Banks are generally open from 9:00 to 15:00 hours, Monday to Friday.
